Virtual creative learning sessions from Kirkby Gallery and Knowsley Safari Art in the Park
Kirkby Gallery and Knowsley Safari have created Art in the Park, providing a new series of virtual creative learning sessions led by professional artists. The project seeks to offer free artist-led learning experiences for all, in response to the Park, its animals and conservation aims. Live streamed from the Safari, the range of outdoors-inspired sessions includes options for individuals and schools. Sessions are free to book and are for anyone keen to learn more about the natural world and a range of artistic practices. This pilot project offers some sessions for schools and others for the general public and adult audiences. • For general public / adults: Julia Midgley: Monday 1, 8, 22 February and 1 March, all sessions at 10am. Love Lowry

The Lowry in Salford has launched a new, free way for people to continue to enjoy the arts from home – ‘Love Lowry’. “The programme will offer things such as creative activities for children, adults and families, the opportunity to experience digital art designed to be experienced online and the chance to ‘watch again’ art experiences The Lowry has in its digital archive.” All the activities on offer are free of charge.
