Congleton Town Council would like to thank all our sponsors who helped ensure the town was decorated and looked great with the orange bikes, Mountbatten Way and Rood Hill wall banners and Lamp Post Banners on West Road for the start of Stage 3 of the Tour of Britain Cycle Race- Tuesday 6th September.
The decoration of the town was picked up by the Tour of Britain organisers commenting “Wow, wow, wow!!! Congleton- you’ve given us a fantastic reception” this was tweeted by the Tour of Britain organisers as they recognised that Congleton had given them one of the noisiest, busiest colourful starts to race day in years.
