Spooky Halloween Fun

Congleton Town Council is excited to announce the return of the popular Halloween Trail, running from Saturday 25 October to Saturday 1 November 2025. Supported by more than 40 local businesses, the trail invites families to hunt for spooky clues hidden in shop windows, uncover a secret message, and return their completed sheet to Congleton Information Centre to claim a free treat.

The trail is free to join and offers a fantastic way to explore the high street, support local shops, and enjoy a family day out. Trail leaflets will be available soon and can be collected from the Information Centre or downloaded at home.

As part of the wider Half-Term celebrations, families can also look forward to Witchy Wednesday at Congleton Town Hall on Wednesday 29 October – a ticketed event full of crafts, pumpkin carving, and Halloween fun. Tickets for Witchy Wednesday are available from Congleton Information Centre or online via TicketSource: Congleton Town Council event tickets from TicketSource. Tickets cost just £2 per child, with three different time slots available at 11am, 12.30pm and 2pm.

Rachel McCarthy, Congleton Town Centre and Events Officer, said: “Halloween in Congleton is always a fantastic community celebration, and this year is set to be even bigger and better. The Halloween Trail is a wonderful way to explore our town centre and support local businesses, while Witchy Wednesday promises fun, creativity, and spooky surprises for families. We can’t wait to welcome everyone into the town for some half-term magic.”
