Congleton Town Council is pleased to announce that from Monday 21 July 2025, Congleton Paddling Pool will be open seven days a week to mark the start of the summer school holidays.
The pool will remain open for the summer season until Sunday 31 August 2025, with two public sessions daily:
- Morning session: 10am–1pm
- Afternoon session: 2pm–5pm
The paddling pool is a much-loved community feature, offering free, safe fun for children aged 11 and under. Entry is free of charge and no booking is required. Visitors are admitted on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum of 140 people per session. Once capacity is reached, visitors will be asked to wait until space becomes available.
Please note: the pool is closed to the general public every Wednesday morning to host exclusive SEND sessions hosted by Ruby’s. Public access will resume at 2pm on Wednesdays.
Congleton Town Mayor, Councillor Robert Brittain, said: “The paddling pool is a true community gem that brings joy to hundreds of children and families every summer. It’s a place where memories are made – and the fact that it remains completely free and accessible to all is something Congleton is incredibly proud of.”
In partnership with Ruby’s, SEND sessions will run on the following Wednesday mornings, 10am–1pm: 23 July, 30 July, 6 August, 13 August, and 20 August. These sessions are designed to offer a calm, supportive environment for SEND children and their immediate families. Tickets are free but must be booked in advance, and are released each Monday at 7pm via Ruby’s online platform: https://app.tickettailor.com/events/rubysfund/1266380 A full FAQ sheet covering everything from session details and safety rules to accessibility and parking is available on the town council website: Paddling Pool 2025 FAQ – Congleton Town Council
