Congleton in Bloom is thrilled to announce its first Town Tidy Day of 2025, kicking off the campaign to secure its fifth gold in the RHS Britain in Bloom UK Finals. The community event will take place on Saturday 1 February, from 10am to 12pm at Astbury Mere Country Park (Sandy Lane, CW12 4FP).
This year’s Town Tidy Days promise to be bigger and better than ever, starting with a focus on hedge planting and litter picking at the stunning Astbury Mere. Volunteers will help plant a new hedgerow and orchard, enhancing the natural beauty of this much-loved local gem.
Residents of all ages are encouraged to join in and make a difference in their community. No prior experience is needed—just turn up, bring your enthusiasm, and enjoy a morning of rewarding activity. All equipment will be provided, but volunteers should wear sensible clothing and footwear suitable for outdoor work.
