Shrek the Musical

Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek whose solitude is suddenly shattered by an invasion of fairy tale characters who have been banished from their kingdom by the evil Lord Farquaad. Determined to save his home and return them to theirs, Shrek strikes a deal with Farquaad and sets out to rescue Princess Fiona to be Farquaad’s bride. But Shrek finds someting appealing – something different about this pretty princess .. and why does she run off at sunset?

Centre Stage TYTC is excited to take up the challenge of bringing this magical, colourful, upbeat musical to Daneside Theatre for the first time.
