Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre- Summer Activities

The Jodrell Jubilee- Daily drop-in activities, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Lovell Telescope; science themed games, live demonstrations and fun activities. Activities free with general admission.

Telescope Walking Tours- Join one of the University of Manchester Physics students for a walk around the base of the Lovell Telescope, find out more about how it works, history and some of its research. Tours at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pm & 3.30pm. Talk lasts about 45 minutes, free with general admission.

Science Show: From Sputnik to Supernovae- Fun experiments, interactive demonstrations and live science shows at 11.30am & 2.30pm- free with general admission.
