Congleton Heritage & Antiques Festival 2018

8th – 23rd September 2018
A celebration of everything; history, heritage, antique and vintage. Lots of different events and activities including; exhibitions by Congleton History Society, Congleton Museum, Congleton Metal Detecting Club, Congleton Beartown Classic Car Club; Talks include “Man and Boy: My Thirty Years with Antiques Roadshow” and Beyond- by Lars Tharp, Talk & Valuation- “A Life in the Auction Room” by Adam Partridge, The Macclesfield Canal, Railway Mania, Biddulph Old Hall, Congleton & Gallipoli, The Congleton Hoard; Historical Walks including Votes for Women, Congleton’s Lost Buildings, Mill Walks and Industrial Yarns; Open days at; the Masonic Hall, Mow Cop Primitive Methodist Chapel, St. Mary’s Church, Astbury and Rode Hall. Medieval Banquet in the Town Hall.
