Established in 1904, this family-run business occupies a timber-framed building that is thought to date back to the 1430s. A drawing in the Council Chamber of the Town Hall shows that before the Industrial Revolution came to Congleton, the High Street was lined with buildings like this. Inside the shop, which sells quality gentlemen’s clothing, it is possible to see exposed wooden beams, old staircases and daub walls.
One of the biggest non-sporting venues in Congleton. It a great space to hold parties, celebrations, weddings, exhibitions, concerts, large meetings, training, fundraisers, launches and sporting events.
The room can accommodate 220 people seated theatre-style, with room for a further 100 on the balcony and sides. For Weddings, fund raisers and events involving fine dining the room is better suited to 100 – 180 guests. Feature lighting in a wide variety of colours and fairy lights are available at an additional cost to transform room and to meet your colour scheme.
