Congleton Unplugged 2020

Let Unplugged blow away the winter blues… Congleton Unplugged is back! For three weekends from 29th February to 14th March, Congleton Unplugged 2020 brings music events for everyone. Genres include; Prohibition, Blues, Folk, Pop, Indie and Choral, be sure to come along and singalong! New for 2020… Spoken Words events.

The main event is free to enter, with more than 40 gigs over the weekend of 6th-8th March, across a variety of your favourite Congleton venues.
Leading up to the free weekend, there are some ticketed events including:

  • Saturday 29th February, Congleton Cricket Club: The Jake Leg Jug Band with sounds of 1920s and 30s America. Supported by Andy Boote, tickets £6.
  • Tuesday 3rd March, Beartown Tap: Poems and Pints, hosted by John Lindley- bring your own poetry to read or just sit in and enjoy! Free entry.
  • Wednesday 4th March, Congleton Library: JUDAS! The story of Dylan going electric at Newport Folk Festival 1965. Tickets £6.
  • Thursday 5th March, Cygnet Club: John Dali and support, takes his musical presence to another level. Brought to you in association with Biddulph Up in Arms, tickets £6.
