Congleton Sustainability Group- Apple Collection

Do you have excess apples? Don’t worry, Congleton Sustainability Group is going to turn them into Congleton’s very own Apple Juice and Cider and for the first time, this year the CSG group will be doing it themselves at the Old Saw Mill. All you have to do is collect your excess apples- dessert or cooking and leave them at the Old Saw Mill, Back River Street (open Monday-Friday 10am-4pm or Saturday 10am-2pm) or Astbury Mere Visitors Centre (open daily from 9am-5pm).

If you leave your name and contact details; phone number or email address, the Congleton Sustainability Group will give a free bottle of apple juice to everyone who contributes apples.

Bottles of Apple Juice and Cider will be available from early September. For more details, search for Congleton Sustainability Group or the Old Saw Mill on Facebook.
