Congleton In Bloom Clean-Up- 12th May

Congleton in Bloom – Come and Help May 12th 10.00am – 12.00 noon

Congleton in Bloom needs your help!  If you can spare an hour or two please pop down to the Community Garden in Lawton Street between 10.00am  – 12.00 noon to help with some weeding, gardening and general tidying.

With the countdown starting to the North West in Bloom judging in July and the Britain in Bloom judging in August the team is starting to concentrate efforts on areas around the town that need a little bit of help.

All equipment will be provided and you can be sure of a warm welcome! The event will be led by Tidy Town Champion Glen Williams. The more support the better and all ages are very welcome!

The In Bloomers are also encouraging people to call in at the Bath House and Physic garden off Cole Hill Bank (behind the back of the Cenotaph) which is having an open day on Saturday from 10.00am – 4.00pm.

Any individuals, volunteer groups, churches, businesses, neighbourhoods or schools that want to do their bit to help clean up their local community outside of an organised Town Tidy session can borrow pickers, hoops, bags and gloves from Congleton Town Council. Please contact Ruth on rb@congletontowncouncil.co.uk  or tel 01260 270350 ext 2 for more details.
