Welcome Congleton’s new town mayor, Cllr Kay Wesley at the annual Parade and Civic Service on Sunday 2 June 2024.
Arrive at 2pm at Antrobus Street Car Park with a sign saying your organisation name and logo, and walk along to the Town Hall. The Bear Town Stompers band are leading the parade, and it should have a lively festive feel. Please invite friends, family, groups and colleagues to come and join in and wave us on! People in the parade can (if they wish) join a celebration service in the Town Hall (about 90 minutes starting at 2.30pm). This will be followed by complimentary light refreshments.
We would like the event to be more inclusive and a celebration of everyone in Congleton who supports the community and the town. We hope you will join us for what we hope will be a wonderful day and a tribute to everyone who makes Congleton such a great town!
