Recognised nationally and the only grade 1 listed building in the town centre, this magnificent Georgian Church is open to visitors every Tuesday 10am – 1pm April to July and every Saturday 10am – 2pm April to September with events organised on many Tuesdays, St. Peters are also happy to arrange visits for groups.
With two significant grants from the Herritage Lottery Fund the towns civic church is continually striving to ensure its suitabilty for worship and as a community asset.
Located on Chapel Street just a short walk away from the town hall, it is a must see for any visitors interested in the heritage of the town.
