Town Hall seeks new catering partner

Congleton Town Council is seeking a catering partner for the provision of catering and beverage services at the Town Hall located at the heart of Congleton town centre.

The Town Hall is an ideal venue for concerts, conferences, weddings, fayres, public meetings, training courses, private meetings and dances to name just a few! The Town Hall has a licensed bar and is licensed for Weddings and Civil Services.

Mark Worthington, Town Hall Manager said: “With the lifting of COVID restrictions, we’ve seen an increase in bookings for our three impressive function rooms. This is an excellent opportunity for a catering supplier to collaborate with us as bookings grow and new opportunities arise. We are looking for a partner, or possibly a mix of suppliers, who can provide us with the required level of service to cover a variety of occasions.”

Mark continues: “Importantly, interested businesses must have the flexibility to operate seven days per week, have extensive experience of managing catering / bar businesses as well as a food hygiene certificate and relevant licences. They must have the scalability and capacity to cater for small events from 5-50 delegates up to large wedding receptions, community meetings and business conferences with 200 guests.”

For an informal conversation about this opportunity, contact Town Hall Manager, Mark Worthington on: 01260 270350 ext 5 or email: mark.worthington@congleton-tc.gov.uk. Expressions of interest must be received before 21 October 2021.
