A lot of local businesses are relying on the festive season after a tough couple of years. It’s time to show our town centre traders some support and Christmas cheer… say ‘hi’ to Congleton’s high street again. You’ll be able to pick up all your presents and get into the Christmas spirit with some local hospitality and festive events.
Check out this short film produced by Cheshire East Council. The film features among others: Wild & Wild, The Flower Gallery, Bare Health, R.J. Moore and Congleton Shoe Repairs. The Say ‘hi’ to the High Street this Christmas campaign is being funded by the European Regional Development Fund. More information can be found on the government’s website.
Stay safe while having fun! Which is why we are encouraging residents to shop local this year. We can all have a happier and healthier Christmas if we shop responsibly – avoiding city crowds by using our local towns.
Let’s keep Covid at bay – get vaccinated, test regularly, wear a face mask and wash your hands frequently. It’s not a big sacrifice, and it means we’ll all have a happier and healthier Christmas!
