Mad Hatters Tea Party

Mad Hatter Fun at Congleton Town Hall

‘Don’t be late…for this very important date’, that’s the message from Congleton Town Mayor, Councillor Sally Holland when launching the family tickets for the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party being held in Congleton Town Hall on Sunday 28th October. The family party has been organised by the Town Mayor following the success of the ‘Tea with the Mayor’ party held earlier in the year. “Some people wanted to bring younger members of the family, and asked me to organise an event in the Town Hall that children could enjoy”, explained the Mayor. The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party will include a disco, magic show with Nick Barnes, balloon show, roast beef and turkey baps with all the trimmings, dessert and lots of fun for the family. Fancy dress is optional – but there are prizes for the best! Tickets are priced at just £20 for four people (max 2 adults). Extra children can join in for just £2.50 each. Any profits from the party will go towards the Town Mayor’s Charity. Cllr Holland explained, “The Town Hall is such a fabulous venue for parties that I thought it would be a real half-term treat to throw a ‘Mad Hatter’s Tea Party’ style party for children and their parents or grand-parents. It will be an afternoon to remember!” The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party is on Sunday 28th October from 2pm – 5pm. Tickets are available from DeLacey’s Café and Tapas Bar on the ground floor of the Town Hall and must be bought in advance. Tickets are limited so you are advised to book early to avoid disappointment. For more information call 01260 270350 ext 6.
