Step into a world of tradition and celebration at the Town Mayor’s Spring Charity Ball, held at Congleton Town Hall on Friday 14 March 2025. This elegant evening will be introduced in grand style by the Town Crier, Vicky Pulman, who will lead the ceremonial Clapping In of the Mayors – a rare opportunity to witness Congleton’s rich heritage in action.
Guests will enjoy a delicious three-course meal, followed by an evening of live music and dancing with The Sound Party, who will perform a selection of 80s and 90s classics. This event is an annual highlight, bringing together civic leaders, local businesses, community groups and residents to support the mayor’s chosen charities: myCWA, Ruby’s Fund, and Congleton Pride.
Congleton Town Mayor, Cllr Kay Wesley, said: “The Clapping In of the Mayors is a cherished tradition, and I am delighted that our Town Crier, Vicky Pulman, will be leading this year’s ceremony. I encourage everyone to come along, enjoy a wonderful evening, and support our fantastic local charities.”
A limited number of tickets are available to the public for £50 per person, including the meal and entertainment. Secure your place before Friday 21 February 2025 via TicketSource: www.ticketsource.co.uk/congletontownmayor.
