Pack a picnic and enjoy an afternoon of live music and entertainment in Congleton Park as part of His Majesty King Charles III Coronation celebrations. The free event on Bank Holiday Monday (8 May) will run from 1pm-5.30pm.
Andy Hofton and Audley Brass Band will entertain the crowds from the main stage. There will be something for everyone with the popular RSPCA dog show and activities hosted by Vale Juniors Football Club and Congleton Grizzlies Basketball Club. Little ones can go on a Dragon Quest and get crafty making coronation themed decorations.
Don’t panic if you forget the picnic – there will be stalls selling hot food and tasty tipples to toast the new King! See the poster below for further details:
