Congleton’s Spring Clean

Congleton in Bloom seeks helpers for Tidy Britain’s National Spring Clean

Congleton in Bloom is backing a national campaign to get half a million people out and about cleaning up their local communities in 2017.

As part of its support for the country’s biggest-ever community clear up Congleton In Bloom is seeking volunteers to take part in a Great British Spring Clean at Congleton Park on Saturday 25th March from 10am – 12 noon. Local people wishing to join in this event should meet at Congleton Park in the front of Stocks Pavilion. Volunteers can do as little or as much as they want to during this time.

Those joining in are advised to wear clothing appropriate to anticipated weather conditions and sensible footwear. Everything else – high-visibility vests, litter pickers, sacks and gloves will be provided. – We are trying to get as many of the public to the tidy up as we can, so please spread the word.
