How do you know what a polar bear’s star sign is? “Did you know that the word ‘Arctic’ means ‘with bears’ and ‘Antarctic’ means ‘without bears’?
To find out more come and meet a polar bear named Bjorn in Congleton Town Centre on Saturday 22 December; he’s friendly and totally gorgeous. Find out what it’s like to get up close and personal with one of these amazing creatures and even give him a pat – if you’re feeling brave enough!
Bjorn is accompanied by an Arctic conservationist who can tell you all about polar bears: what they eat, where they live and how they stay warm. There will be three 20 minute shows taking place at 12.30pm, 1.45pm and 3.00pm.
The visit has been sponsored by Congleton Town Council, Plus Dane Neighbourhood Investors and Prism Total IT Solutions with the aim of encouraging more people to come to Congleton on the last Saturday before Christmas.
