Congleton Cycling Campaign

There will be a free treasure hunt in Congleton this summer to help you find quiet streets and other shortcuts around and across town. This means you can identify pleasant routes for everyday journeys on foot or by bike AND be in the running to win prizes.
Look out for the leaflet with the set of clues and a map of the town to help you find all the answers.  There are also instructions on how to enter the competition.  The leaflet will be available at the Tourist Information Centre.  Additionally all primary schoolchildren in Congleton will be given a leaflet to take home, so that their families can all get involved.  You can do the hunt at any time over the summer, and you can do different parts at different times. However, for competition entrants, there is a closing date of August 31st.  This gives plenty of time during the school holidays to complete all the clues in several trips with family or friends. The competition has been devised by Congleton Cycling Campaign and Congleton Town Council, with prizes from local businesses.

Whether you enter the competition or not, every treasure hunter will be a winner by finding hidden routes in town in a free fun activity.   Good luck!
