Celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in the beautiful surroundings of Congleton park on Thursday 2 June from 12-5pm. Bring a picnic and enjoy live music through the decades, entertainment & side stalls. The bank holiday is extended from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th June 2022, to celebrate the Queen’s 70 years of service.
To help with the celebrations across the borough, Cheshire East Council is providing a community fund to allow residents to apply for up to £120 for street parties or similar community events. Applications for a street party road closure will be free of charge. The deadline for both applications is 8 April 2022.
