Congleton Town Hall was first opened to the public on the 11th July 1866. There are a number of plans in the pipeline to celebrate 150 years of this prestigious building. Events include a grand tea party, school visits and exhibitions and creating Town Hall art work. There is also an ambition to fill the empty shields along the front of the Town Hall, paint the inside of the building and create merchandise and historical information.
