Mr Matthews said: “Cllr David Martin has always supported the arts, and when he told me he was going to be Mayor, I offered to put on a really special show for the town using my contacts. I believe I have succeeded in my aspiration of producing the best show for 25 years – but ultimately the public will decide!”

There will be gifts available to suit all tastes and budgets – with prices ranging from £3 to £3000! The Creativedge Show will be open from 11.00am – 4.30pm. Admission is £2 (£1 concessions) and as well as viweing fabulous art visitors can expect entertainment, a visit from Santa and wine tasting. The Town Hall bar and DeLacey’s Cafe and Tapas Bar will be open.

Town Mayor Cllr Dave Martin said: “I feel incredibly honoured that these artists are travelling to Congleton to help raise funds for my charities. It will be a tremendous show – the likes of which we haven’t seen for many years – and I really hope the local people will turn out and enjoy the experience.”
