As part of the build up to Christmas 2009, Congleton Town Council is organising an evening to remember in the form of a Christmas Extravaganza. As well as the usual charity stalls, food stalls, street entertainment, music and of course Santa dropping in to turn on our Christmas Lights, there will also be a Craft Fayre inside the Town Hall.

The fun starts at 4.30 with a packed schedule of events leading up to Santa turning on the Christmas Lights outside the Town Hall at 5.45pm. There will be a lot of new attractions at this years event including a helter skelter and other traditional fair ground rides.Many of the town's shops will be staying open late this year, so why not take advantage of the free parking and come and take a look.
