There are two golf clubs on the edge of the town, the older one being Congleton Club Golf which has 9 holes and Astbury Golf Club with its testing 18-hole course. Both have strong memberships but for those who prefer just the occasional game there is the Malkin Bank course run by Congleton Borough Council or Marton Golf Course which are both pay as you play.
