We' set a new World Record for the Largest Maypole Dance!!

Guinness World Record Team in London has confimed Congleton' claim at setting a new World Record for the Largest Maypole Dance. The new record stands at 146. 150 Primary School children, with help from a number of trained reserves, from 11 schools completed the five minute dance on 21st May 2008. The ten judges scrutinising the dance ruled that four of the children needed to be eliminated from the total.
