Play Parks

DISCOVER KEY SITES IN AND AROUND CONGLETON

Congleton has 14 play parks in and around the town as well as some great open spaces. The play parks offer a range of different equipment to cater for toddlers to teens. Residents and visitors can benefit from these free play areas by getting active and socialising at the same time.

The largest parks with the most play equipment can be found at Congleton Park, Lower Heath and St John’s. A new inclusive wheelchair roundabout was added to Congleton Park in 2023.

“Fun and exciting opportunities to play are at the heart of a happy, healthy and enjoyable childhood. Better outdoor play opportunities are good for children, good for families and good for communities.” The Play Strategy from the Department of Education – 2008
