Congleton In Bloom has been working with businesses, schools and groups to make Congleton bloom again this Summer. The team would like to offer a huge thank you to everyone who has helped with litter picking, planting, weeding, sponsoring and sprucing up an area.
Once again it has been a mammoth town effort. North West In Bloom Judging Day was Thursday 20th July when the judges spent most of the day in the town considering the main town entry as well as neighbourhood entries from; Buglawton in Bloom, Bromley Farm, Congleton Park, Hilary Avenue Allotments, New Life Church- Jubilee Club, Congleton Bath House and Physic Garden, Astbury Mere Country Park, Heath View Care Home and Saint Mary’s Primary School as well as business entries from the Queens Head, Alexandra Court Hotel and Astbury Mere Care Home.
Chairman of the In Bloom team, Cllr Brown said “We all work hard to make Congleton look fantastic for our residents, workers and visitors- but it would be great to be best in the North West again and to be able to represent the region in Britain in Bloom in 2018, Congleton In Bloom’s 20th Anniversary”.
