Congleton Gyratory- Total Road Enhancement Improvements

Cheshire East Council are working to improve the A34 Manchester Road / A536 Macclesfield Road junction at Lower Heath by resurfacing this key route in three phases.

Total road enhancement means we will undertake maintenance such as pavement works, barrier repairs, sign repairs and gully cleaning. The aim of this is to address as many highways issues along the stretches of road within the closure to minimise future visits, closures and disruption.

When is it happening?

These essential works are taking place over a series of weekends in three phases as indicated on our plan, starting on 11 March and ending on 9 April. Signed diversions will be in place.
