Congleton Town Council

We will encourage Congleton's junior sporting talent by identifying and supporting talented and gifted youngsters. We will organise talent spotting opportunities at schools and clubs in Congleton involving County and Regional sports coaches,

We will establish a fund to sponsor a limited number of Congleton Juniors to help them move to the next level of their sport. We recognise that the transition from school or club team to County or Regional level is often the most difficult. 

Candidates will be nominated by their club or school and the winners of the bursaries will be chosen by a panel from the Congleton sporting community. The fund will be structured so that Tomorrow's Sporting Heroes programme will run every year and will become a major legacy of 2012.
