Paddling Pool

The Paddling Pool is a free facility run by Congleton Town Council for the benefit of local people. It is a much loved facility which children have been enjoying since the 1930s.

  • Open Saturday 2 June to Sunday 16 September from 10am - 6pm weather dependant.

congleton-paddling-pool.jpgIn 2008 the Town Council invested around £70,000 to improve the facility - this included new safety surfacing around the pool, the pool being repointed and painted, a new toilet facility connected to the main sewer (no more portaloos!) and improvements to the filtration plant.

A Paddling Pool Attendant will be on duty at all times and should be contacted if you need the key for the toliet, access to the first aid box or general advice. All children must be accompanied by an adult. The facility is designed for children aged 11 and under.

Visitors are asked to respect the residents of Park Road and park either at the park or in one of the town centre car-parks.

All litter should be put in the bins provided and children should not take food or drink into the water as this can cause a problem with the filters.
