Congleton Town Council

We love Christmas in Congleton. Christmas festivities start with a town celebration on FRIDAY 25 NOVEMBER when the Christmas Lights are switched on.

The extravaganza lasts from 4pm – 7pm with the switch on at 5.30pm. This has grown year on year – and is now a must attend event for thousands of local people.
Many Congleton shops open on Sundays leading up to Christmas. Look out for entertainment in town on the 3^rd and 10^th – and come and visit the beautiful cairngorm reindeers in town on SATURDAY 17^th DECEMBER.
With more than 200 shops offering a great range of goods - and plenty of independents offering different and unusual gifts – Congleton really is worth a visit this Christmas - and if you already live in Congleton - there really isn’t any need to go anywhere else!
