Congleton Town Council

Congleton is a great place to do business! Situated in the heart of the UK, just 10 minutes drive from junction 17 off the M6, the town benefits from great transport links, yet is still a traditional market town, set amongst some of the most beautiful countryside in the UK. The town also benefits from easy links to Manchester, Liverpool and the East Midlands airports.

Congleton is not prepared to stand still. The Town Plan, published in March 2008, shows the vision and plan for Congleton Town Centre over the next 10 - 15 years.

In May 2011 Congleton held a successful two day Business Expo to bring together potential developers, businesses and traders to show what Congleton has to offer. A Congleton Means Business legacy team has been set up to build on the great start given at the Business Expo. We want to encourage the right sort of business for the town, and to help developers and businesses to flourish in our town.
