Congleton town council also employs a team of seasonal paddling pool attendants.

Town Clerk
Brian Hogan joined the Town Council as Town Clerk in December 2009 and holds a Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiCLA). He is employed full time and oversees all the workings of the Town Council.
Support Manager
Jackie Potts took up the role of Support Manager in April 2008. Jackie works 30 hours a week and is particularly responsible for the smooth running of the committees, the office and the finances. Jackie is not usually in the office on a Friday.

Civic Administrative Officer
Linda joined Congleton Town Council in 2002, her responsibilities include:- Organising Civic events, co-ordinating the Mayor's Diary, the Youth Committee and Planning Committee Administration. Linda works 21 hours a week, usually 9-3pm Monday - Wednesday.

Administrative Assistant
Sheron Clarke also assists Brian and Jackie, and has responsibilities for committee agendas and minutes. Sheron works 21 hours - usually on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Administrative Assistant
Sue Trow also assists Brian and Jackie, and has responsibilities for purchase ledger and the web site. Sue works 18.5 hours - usually all day Monday and Tuesday and Friday mornings.
Town Centre and Marketing Manager
Jackie is responsible for the Town Council communications, promoting the town and working with partner organisations to improve the town centre. Jackie works 33 hours a week.

Facilities Manager
Chris Jones is responsible for the smooth running of the Town Hall, Paddling Pool and Congleton Allotments as well as co-ordinating the two Town Handy Men. This is a full time role.

Town Handyman
This is a full time position reporting to the facilities manager Chris Jones. Marks main duties are to ensure that the town and all the public realm areas are kept to a high standard and either maintained or reported to the appropriate bodies. During the summer months Mark looks after the maintenance of the Paddling Pool, ensuring water quality and chemicals are within the recommended levels.

Town Handyman
This is a full time position, reporting to the Facilitiies Manager Chris Jones. Town Hall Caretaker
Tim works 24hrs a week and reports to Chris Jones. Tim's main responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and well being of the Town Hall and to facilitate its use.

Facilities Officer
Melvyn works 15hrs a week and also reports to Chris Jones, his duties are to supervise and facilitate the smooth running of the Town Hall.

Al also works 15hrs a week and reports to Chris Jones, his duties are to supervise and facilitate the smooth running of the Town Hall.

Facilities Officer (casual)
Pete works at the Town Hall as a facilities officer as required and reports to Chris Jones.

Congleton Partnership Co-ordinator
The major part of Mike's role is as administrator for the Congleton partnership. To co-ordinate its activities, projects and events while supporting the various groups attached to the Partnership Executive. Mike works 22 hrs a week, normally Monday - Wednesday

Pool Attendant
Will works part time as a lifeguard at the Paddling Pool during the summer months and helps out at the Town Hall as required. Will reports to Chris Jones the Facilities Manager.
