Meet the Councillors

The Council has 20 Councillors serving two wards. Councillors are not paid and are elected every four years to serve the people living and working in their areas.

The latest elections were held in May 2011. The next will be May 2015. All Councillors serve on Council, Planning and Strategy Working Groups. Lists of councillors sitting on the other committees can be viewed in the meetings section.

The Town Mayor of Congleton is elected annually by a vote of the Council. The Mayor chooses a charity for their year in office and raises money. Click here to get in touch
