Town Hall Conference Venue

Congleton Town Hall is owned and managed by Congleton Town Council. Since taking ownership in 2008 the Town Council has invested thousands in the building to secure the building for decades to come and to make it an attractive building to hire for events in the town.

conference-venue-one.jpgThe well respected in-house caterers provide the catering for all events and are happy to tailor menus to meet your needs.

Many people know the Town Hall as a great venue for weddings, parties, concerts, fayres and public meetings, so we wanted to share the secret of our room hire with you. And as the venue is owned and managed by Congleton Town Council, all monies raised from the hire of the Town Hall are ploughed back into your local community.

We have three great rooms which you can use – and until March 2012 we are offering the special rates below for weekday business use:

Room Hire includes:

  • The use of the room for either morning, afternoon or full day.
  • Having the room set to your requirements – theatre, classroom or boardroom.
  • Use of pre-booked projector, screen and flipchart
  • Use of Wi-fi
  • Water available in the room

In addition our well established in-house caters offer the following

  • Tea, Coffee and biscuits at 85p per head (or £1.60 per head with Danish pastries)
  • Tea, Coffee, orange juice and Bacon butties (or vegetarian option) £4.00 per head
  • Our standard – but still special – buffet at £5.50 per head (includes soft drinks)
  • Our Luxury buffet at £7.50 per head (includes soft drinks)

Useful information to note when booking Congleton Town Hall

conference-venue-three.jpgOnce a booking form* has been completed a provisional booking will be made and held for two weeks. A booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

The Town Hall has a licence for Civil Weddings and Partnerships, and for the performance of live music and recorded music.

The Town Hall has a licensed bar which is available to hire for events at £20

The Town Hall is a no-smoking venue.

Congleton Town Hall is DDA compliant.

Bookings need to be for a minimum of two hours.

Saturday evening functions must finish by 1am at the latest.

When making a booking remember to allow time to set up and if appropriate tidy up after the event.

The hirer will be responsible for any damage, loss or injury arising out of the use of the premises by the hirer.  

Local charity group organising fund raising events will be entitled to a 50% reduction in the charge of the Hall on a Friday and Saturday night. (limited number per year). Congleton Town residents are entitled to a 10% reduction in hire costs.
